Shipping and Return Policies
Returns
Since our products are designed for personal care, we cannot safely accept returns, however, if you have received damaged or defective merchandise or were shipped the wrong item, we will be happy to refund or reship your order.
The following are required for refund/reship:
- Please notify us immediately about the issue at service@agapebodyandsoul.com
- Retain the box, the shipping materials and merchandise inside
- Take a picture (s) of the product, packaging and any relevant shipping materials
- Email you pictures and request for either refund or reship to: service@agapebodyandsoul.com
Temperature Extreme Shipping Policies
Following our corporation values of SIMPLICITY and NATURAL SOLUTIONS we do not use additives like petroleum, propylene glycol, wax or phthalates to thicken or stabilize our products. We believe this helps us to provide you with safe and healthy skin and hair care products.
Since our butters and lotions bars are designed to naturally melt and absorb with skin contact, it is possible that exposure to prolonged or extreme heat may cause melting during transport.
We encourage our customers to shop for lotion bars and body butters from October through the end of April and stock up for the summer months. As an additional incentive we have subscription plans available for your convenience and cost savings.
Packaging and Shipping:
- Multiple layers of product protection and insulation
- double-walled plastic containers
- internal insulation packing layer
- external insulation packing layer
- Priority shipping recommended at checkout to speed up delivery
- Shipping Monday – Wednesday only to avoid weekend carrier storage in hot facilities
- Shipping and delivery notifications so you can retrieve your goodies immediately
Delivery and inspection
- Please ship to a location where packages will be retrieved right away.
- Monitor your package tracking information; this will be sent to you when your package is shipped.
- Do not leave package in your mailbox or hot car!
- CHECK your containers upon arrival!
- If melting occurs:
- Lotion bar: leave the bar in its container, place in refrigerator for 30-45 min. Use as directed.
- Body butter:
- If soft, but mostly solid – place in refrigerator for 20-30 min. Use as directed.
- If melted – place in microwave for a few seconds at a time until you can stir with a spoon, then refrigerate for 45 min – 1 hr.
- The whipped consistency will change. It will become more like a body balm.
- Although the jar was filled to the top in production there will be less volume in the container.
- Your butter will perform just fine; you may have to use a little less just because all the air is gone.
